I use the cafes on both sides of the highway. Originally it was a convenient stop for me when flying in and out of Alicante, (I live near Velez Rubio), but now I drive to and from scotland. It means I am thankfully at the end of my journey south, or prepairing myself for my journey north. Although it is next to the road it has a peaceful feeling about it, not overcrowded and a need to hurry you through. It is always clean, no matter what time of day or night I stop. The staff are polite and professional, even with my limited Spanish. They also must clean their coffee machines on a regular basis, as I have never had a bad tasting coffee here. I am visiting again and forgot to mention the air...
No probé la comida, pero el lugar se ve absolutamente encantador, no muy caro y se puede comer al aire libre, así que ¡es amigable con los perros! Hay mucho estacionamiento y estaciones de servicio cercanas. Lo mismo hacia la dirección opuesta de la autopista, ya que tuve que verificar si había opciones similares disponibles. Hay una gran variedad de alimentos. Tienen platos y bocadillos fríos con muchas opciones diferentes. Todo se ve fresco, definitivamente es un lugar en el que parar para descansar y comer. Incluso lo guardé en mi GPS para usarlo como una parada la próxima vez que esté de viaje por carretera.
