We arrived at the restaurant at 13:50 and asked a waiter if we could eat. Unfortunately we speak little French. We were told by an older male waiter (in words and gestures) that since it was already so close to the kitchen closing time (14:00) we could only have drinks from the fridge, which, while rather disappointed, we purchased and had on the terrace. Note, the restaurant is open till 18:00. On leaving, we were very surprised and shocked to see that other guests who we saw arrive after 14:00 were ordering food. They spoke French. If you are looking for a real Artisanal bakery you have to go there. Excellent bakery pizza just perfect the dough not too thick nor too thin homemade I haven't eaten pizza this good in a bakery since my childhood. Thank you Mr. Baker The bread on the bench It's been years since I've eaten real bread this good. The Croc Monsieur is perfect, the béchamel is good, not cloying Gratleton breads are also made with bread dough. I also tasted the feta turnover which is just delicious. And the ouillllee brioche is so good!!!!! Nous sommes souvent présents à la Grande Motte et ne manquons pas l’occasion de déjeuner à côté de la cathédrale de Villeneuve. Nous avons encore été accueillis avec une extrême gentillesse et avons dégusté un très bon repas. Tout était parfait du début à la fin y compris le cadre chargé d’émotions et d’Histoire.
