Palmeras gigantes. Siempre que visito esta zona de Cantabria, me detengo a comprar una palmera gigante. Como era martes, mis favoritas, las de Tánagos, estaban cerradas, así que fui a comprar las de Pindal. El local está bien situado, cuenta con terraza y una zona interior. Tienen expuestas todas las palmeras disponibles: normal, yema, chocolate con leche, con avellanas y blanco, a un precio de 7,5 € a 8 €. Una vez las probé, me llevé una pequeña decepción; el hojaldre no estaba crujiente, parecía poco hecho. El chocolate no tenía un gran sabor. Me ha decepcionado. I asked for sobaos. Ask if they were traditional butter. They said yes, I trusted and bought two boxes. When we tried them they were very bad. We have looked at the ingredients and it is terrible. Por primera vez entré a Pindal para probar sus afamadas palmeras. La atención de una de las camareras fue lamentable; ante la pregunta: ¿de qué son las palmeras?, respondió de manera muy grosera: ¿pues de qué van a ser? De hojaldre. Nos dieron ganas de irnos.
