Nice corner café with a cozy atmosphere. They have a limited selection of pastries, including vegan doughnuts. There are plenty of coffee choices and smoothies on the menu as well. I ordered a cappuccino along with a vanilla chocolate chip muffin. Both were tasty, although the muffin crumbled a bit while I was eating it, which is quite common. I enjoyed sitting by the window, surrounded by rugs that were for sale. They also had shirts, coffee mugs, food items, and various knick-knacks for sale. I visited this place in Portsmouth for a quick snack and coffee, and I’m so glad I did! The interior is unique and vibrant, featuring a lovely Turkish flair. The snacks and coffee were excellent, with plenty of options for Turkish treats. I highly recommend trying their Turkish breakfast sandwich, which consists of feta, green bell peppers, and tomato on bread—it was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to assist customers. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest stopping by!

I often chose Caffe Kilim as a go-to spot pre-pandemic, and I'm happy to report that after a 2-year hiatus on my part, I returned to find the same great place today. The atmosphere is friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the selection of sweets is tasty. They even carry Lovebird's vegan donuts to enjoy. I recommend giving them your business if you're in the area :

We had a fantastic experience during our visit! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially with our kids. Caffe Kilim is definitely one of the better cafes in Portsmouth. The Turkish coffee is delicious, and served in traditional Turkish coffee cups. If you haven?t had one and like strong coffee, this one is for you. Ask for it with some sugar, and ask to be shown how to drink it you don?t want to sip the grinds!

Finally writing Caffe Kilim up after coming here for years. There are a number of good coffee spots in Portsmouth but this place is probably the most dependable spot I can think of. Staff and coffee are always good, unfussy, and attracts a pleasant crowd.

According to my husband, it was the best iced coffee he’s had in a long time. I really enjoyed my iced latte, and my daughter loved her dessert. The place has a charming and unique atmosphere, and the service was excellent.
