Caffe Nero - Reservar una mesa

Went with my friend for a coffee. It is our usual place. But new trainee barista (burgundy tshirt, glasses and phone sticking out) was rude. Poker face; as she was giving our coffees she slammed it into the tray rather than nicely putting it, we were sitting and chatting as she came grabbed our cups and walked away even though there was still some coffee. Also mentioned my coffee two times and still got the wrong. Felt like she wanted to get rid of us and we were a burden for her. As we looked at her, she acted like this to every customer. I am working in hospitality, and customer should come first. But definetely not for her.

The coffee here is reasonably good and reasonably affordable. The real appeal is the seating in here because there are a lot of comfy chairs and couches and some books but be warned the tables do fill up quickly so I would check and see if there is a table before you order. Also the tiramisu is terrible but tbh that's on me for ordering tiramisu from a chain coffee shop. Don't make the same mistakes I did.

Nice place but the staff weren't helpful, I had asked about ingredients to check a allergen, staff did not even try to find out this information.

Nice sit down with a coffee, a sandwich and a book. Handy little coffee shop on Union Street
