Caffe Portofino - Reservar una mesa

So I had an dinner with a really good friend of mine. we went and the first thing they did was the door open to us. then we chose our table. our server explains the specialties and then we ordered. we have this creamy maize soup that was really good. then I also turned in for the laundry board. the cheese and prosciutto were perfectly displayed. the delivered items were so good. we also had fresh bread with bruschetta. it was good. our main products came in and I had risotto with a spatula and cheese with a steak. it was great! the steak was so tender and well seasoned. the risotto perfectly cooked and so creamy. my friend had a fish in this lemon butter sauce and a sweet almond. it was fres...

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions in the past and never had any issues, but this last visit was very disappointing. The service, except for the person replenishing the water glasses, was not good, in fact lousy. Two other tables that arrived after us got their food long before we did and left long before we could. The food was just okay. My daughter's risotto was very runny, the calamari was very chewy and the chicken breast was very small for the price. Let's just say that the best thing about the meal was our wine and the dessert. There are many other excellent Italian restaurants in Miami to risk a visit Cafe Portofino again. always a favorite when we visit miami. it becomes loud when several groups of 5 or 6 come. but eating is worth inconvenience.
