Amazing experience! We originally planned to dine at a restaurant with a 2-hour wait on a Saturday night, but ended up at Cafe Sport based on a recommendation. What a hidden gem! The decor is reminiscent of colorful and whimsical Sicilian furniture. The atmosphere is cozy and spacious, with just the right amount of noise. The portions were very generous, and we enjoyed sharing a salad, Vongele, and pasta Diablo. Absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-visit destination. The cozy and colorful decor is reminiscent of Sicily, similar to White Lotus.
We, party of 22 went to Cafe Sport on Saturday night to celebrate my dads 80th birthday. I haven't been there in over 20 years and it hasn't changed. Food is still excellent, very authentic Italian. We are all Italian and rather picky when it comes to choosing the right Italian restaurant. I highly recommend for the food. I believe since our party was so large our server was very busy, we basically had to ask for most everything, luckily no one got irritated at our table. Other than that the decor is great!! Enjoy
We’ve been there twice now. What a perfect little spot in San Francisco! The food is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and the service is always top notch. Sitting either outside or inside is sure to be a great experience. Even when they’re super busy, weekend evening, they make sure to take care of their guests. I plan to visit frequently.
Great place for a birthday celebration. Another party was taking place in the back as well. It's advised to make reservations in advance. We were lucky to arrive early and secure a table, as the restaurant filled up quickly, even by 5 o'clock. The mushroom pizza was fantastic, but the pesto gnocchi was just alright.

I absolutely adored this Italian restaurant in San Francisco. The food was the most delicious Italian cuisine I have ever had in the city. I would definitely return to dine here again!
been there twice now, it's a very nice restaurant, it was lively and fun, great place for friends and dates , the pasta al scampi is my favorite and get the menabrea blonda !!!
SLOW AS A Muth# !..I mean DAMN. FOOD IS GREAT THOUGH. if you don't mind the wait. update...the service is and has honestly picked up the pace.STILL great food though
