Food was average, disappointed that basic items like tuna were unavailable. Toastie had very sparse filling accompanied by a virtually non existent side salad. Felt that the staff were rushing us out as the bill was on the table as soon as we got our food. Also disappointed to learn that there are no customer toilets not ideal for customers with children, mobility issues. Also think the fact that it's cash only payment needs to be advised to customers when ordering.
Husband and I had a wee date day. It was a choice between a newly opened untested place or this gem. So glad we came here, fresh ingredients and an unbelievably great price. Took me back to my childhood when cafe dinning was just the best... Still is it turns out. 10/10 for the chicken burger and goujons :
Needed to link with traditional food... so chose Cafollas... were not disappointed! Food was excellent... had eggs and chaps and pasty and chips. Followed that upwithjelly and ice cream in the colours of the Italian flag... felt like being children yet again! Lovely.
Takeaway portion terrible and not worth the price !! Never order chips from here , the cost v portion size was terrible I actually counted the chips which came in a small bag and was 19 single chips Worst portion ever experienced in a chippy Never going there again Reserva una mesa ahora
My partner, baby and I visited on Friday. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful with the baby. It has a great atmosphere and we will definitely be back. The food was gorgeous, it is the best place to get a fry.
Me and my girlfriend visited for a very first time for lunch on Thursday. We ordered chicken nuggets and fish and it was cooked to perfection, really satisfied and be back soon
A portion of chips. Two( very small coffees) a small cup of stewed tea from a pot. Two portions of sauce( extortionately charged for) More than £12. Utter rip off.
How fabulous to find this family cafe, unchanged. Welcoming and great food. Didn’t need the burger, but way too good to say no Reserva una mesa ahora
The food is always delicious and the staff are always friendly it’s a must visit every time we come back to Newtownards.
