We came in at 8:10 PM. We requested from the hostess to be seated at the bar, and she signaled us to put our names within the tablet for the waitlist. She told us the wait time was approximately 15-20 minutes. But she did not ask us for our names. We had two people ahead of us. We waited 40 minutes and then came inside to be seated. The worst experience every… this establishment made a mistake to charge me for another table bill which was $360. Instead of being professional and understand the customer frustration they absolutely didn’t show no care in the world just concern to get their money. Yes a refund was given but a mistake was made with lack of empathy. However, the manager should have spoken to me to explain the mistake and how she was going to issue the refund. As I looked around, I noticed a gentleman and his family thoroughly enjoying a lobster boil, which caught our interest. We decided to order the same dish, and I’m so glad we did! The lobster boil came with corn, eggs, sausage, linguine, and cheesy garlic bread. It was absolutely delicious and nicely seasoned—not too spicy, which was perfect for me since I can't handle strong heat. My sister, on the other hand, was able to request her spicy sauces on the side. We had a wonderful time, and I would definitely recommend this place for families, friends, date nights, or even solo visits. The customer service at this restaurant is quite disappointing! I've been there three times, and each time the hostesses have been unreasonably unfriendly. As someone who loves food, it's frustrating to feel put off from coming back due to the poor service. It appears they lack motivation since tips are automatically included on the bill. Good customer service should always be a priority, regardless of guaranteed tips. Management needs to take this issue seriously. I'm sure other customers have had similar experiences.
I don't want to give one star anywhere, but I will say even after we were sat down it took at least 45 minutes to get our food. It was mother's Day so I won't blame them even though I took even longer to get sat down.The food though, it cannot be overstated, it cannot be exaggerated, how good the food is. We're really sensitive about customer service, and we would go through the exact same experience to eat there again. My father has not stopped talking about it.
We had a great time at Cajun Boil Bar in Oak Brook on Thursday, April 6th. Our bartender, Yasmin and the manager (Captain Turn Up), ?; made this celebration a memorable one. We went to celebrate our co-worker's birthday and had the best time. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the atmosphere was electric! The food is amazing! We had the shrimp and King crab in Medium Spicy House Sauce. We went right at opening on a Sunday to avoid the rush because it's typically busy. We had Jabari as our waiter. He was very attentive and quick. Great waiter.The king crab legs were greatly sized and cooked perfect. We were very impressed by the King Crab today. We're always very satisfied with our food here.
