We were delighted to discover Cajun Kate's while looking for a caterer for our large New Orleans-themed party with 65 guests. The owner was fantastic, and after sampling the menu, we were thrilled by the quality and authenticity of the food. They assisted us in planning the menu, and our substantial order was ready on time and exceeded our expectations. The Jambalaya and Gator bites were particularly popular, but everyone, especially those who had visited New Orleans, enjoyed the po’ boys, fried crawfish, red beans and rice, slaw, and collard greens. --- Stopped by for some gumbo and got the special of the week too. The gumbo was good, but a tad on the salty side for my taste. I absolutely love Cajun Kate's! It's incredibly authentic and delicious. I typically don’t enjoy writing reviews, but this place truly deserves every bit of praise. The customer service is top-notch. The gumbo is amazing, and the catfish fingers are delicious. I was so eager to eat that I didn’t even take a picture! I visit every time I go to Booth's Corner—it's the best food spot around. A winner by all accounts. The “ex” loved this place and for me, well “gator” isn’t my thing. But once, I tasted his “oyster sandwich” (yes there is such a thing! and it was freshly made by Kate herself! Insist of it being made fresh and enjoy bc it turns out that “oyster” is delicious! This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Everything is delicious! The po' boys are incredible, and the jambalaya is absolutely to die for. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. This place is definitely at the top of my list for favorite food spots, and I'm quite the food enthusiast!
