Back after over one year, and I found unchanged good quality at Cala. Dishes are simple and maybe lacking the sparkle and wow factor of other places, but they are certainly well executed by a highly professional kitchen staff, based on good produce, varied (drawing on local, Spanish and Oriental styles), and ultimately tasty and pleasant. Once again I was very happy with the Thai style rice with langostinos, and I also tried an excellent salad of tomato (served peeled) with tuna ventresca. Their bread with tomatoes uses good quality olive oil, and their bienmesabe concluded on a good note. Prices are perhaps just a little higher than average in the Charco, but so is the quality! Their inside space is really cool and smart, and the outside space of course offers a splendid view. Service was friendly an efficient. In sum, for me this remains one of the top choices in the Charco de San Gines.

Ate 3 nights in Cala. The food, service and atmosphere are always good. The food is beautifully presented but also tastes great. The wine list has a good choice and it is always nice to try the Lanzarote wine. We booked a table outside each night and the views are great, and in December the Christmas decorations are lovely.

We had four meals (2 tapas, 2 main dishes).. All meals were below average. We were really disappointed. Not recommended..

A bit expensive, a bit small dishes, excellent service, very good food, worth to visit, especially for tapas.

Absolutely fabulous we went several times and loved it the fish was amazing and the staff were excellent.
