We often find ourselves caught up in a whirlwind of responsibilities. Between work and more work, we sometimes struggle to find time to prepare dinner. Recently, we decided to order takeout from Calabria's, opting for a cheesesteak and a pizza steak. I appreciated that the steak was chopped during cooking, which is my preferred style. The pizza steak was also quite tasty. There’s a dining area available if you prefer to eat in. The menu features a wide variety of Italian dishes to choose from. We’re excited to visit Calabria's in person and enjoy a nice meal (beyond just hoagies and subs) when our schedules allow. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this establishment. It’s clear that the place is quite popular, as their pizzas were flying out the door, which is great to see. However, I encountered some issues with the pricing. I checked the menu before ordering three items, which indicated a total of $24. When I received the bill, it was $39, which didn’t add up. I understand there’s a sign at the front stating that prices are temporarily increased by 20%, and I’m aware of the tax as well. However, 20% of $24 would be $4.80, making the final charge still questionable. On the bright side, the food was quite good. I would consider coming back if I could get clarity on their actual pricing.
Beyond rude! I was trying to order food over the phone and i forgot my hotel room number while on the phone and the guy said “you are calling me to order food but dont even know your room number”?? And he proceeded to hang up on me. Why the f would you treat people that way? Specially when i want to spend my money at your restaurant? Didnt even had to go the restaurant to experience bad customer service, all i had to do was call.
Over priced food and was subpar. Hoagie didn't have any mayo on it, for instance, and was likely 10 inches (not 12) but was $12. I'd say $8-10 is more common. Went in and ordered pizza to go and they refused to let my girlfriend use the bathroom while we were waiting because it was only for people who ate in the resturaunt. Told her to go to wawa nwxtdoor which does not have a bathroom.What happened to taking care of your customers? Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
it reminds me of the pizzerias my parents took me earlier. child reception, wonderful unique oils and dressings for sale including the small choice of Italian desserts. outdoor dining area available. quality ingredients used in their pizzas!
from the Atlantic city on the way back to dc. the best Italian food I ever had. authentic. original and the taste was on point. she was a great person who helped us get our meals and explain them in detail. defense back.
