I must begin with ordering for a birthday celebration for my husbands 80th birthday and the very pleasant manager who helped me order, he was honest because he felt I ordered too much food for the amount of people attending so I scaled back and he was right. I ordered several entrees and chicken fingers which got rave reviews . One guest said the eggplant rollatini was the best she ever had!!!!! Every choice I made was complimented as being delicious even the chicken fingers which I ordered for the children were a hit with the adults. Thank you Calda Massapequa for helping make this event memorable for us!!!
My 4-year-old daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, and since she adores pizza, we set out to find a gluten-free option that she'd enjoy. She had regular pizza from Calda before her diagnosis, so it was no surprise that the only gluten-free pizza she truly loves is from Calda. We pick some up almost every week to take to her daycare for Pizza Fridays—unless we have leftovers from earlier in the week! She enjoys it reheated in the oven just as much as when we have it fresh! A huge thank you to everyone at Calda for creating such a fantastic gluten-free pizza that our daughter loves!
Went in hungry for a slice and left without an appetite. The young man handling the cash register was dripping in sweat, not wearing gloves, touching customers cash then touching the pizza. Completely unsanitary. They also put the pizza on the counterwhere the customers touch by the cash register to slice it. I asked for a water cup and I got a light brown liquid. Will not bereturning. Although hesitant, I did eat the slice. It was nothing special but wasn?t bad either (hence 2 stars).
Ordered chicken parm asked for Alfredo sauce on side of pasta. Willing to pay extra it was not one of the sauce choices. Chicken we as like rubber and sauce was old. Ended up paying $10 for dried up spaghetti with very little sauce. Been going here foryears very disappointed.

Staff was super friendly. Food was delicious. Serving sizes were excellent. Manager and owner came to check on us as well. Will definitely be returning. The Chicken Verde is delicious. You have to try the cheesecake and the warm browniedessert.....you won't regret it
This was our first time eating here, we only had a salad and a small dish. And everything was delicious. The place was very clean, and everyone was very nice. I will definitely be back to check out some of the other dishes.
Visited here with a friend and tried the grandma and vodka sicilians. Both were delicious. Perfectly cooked. Nice crust. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.
I am a big fan of Calda's chicken parmigiana and penne ala vodka. Both of them are very tasty. I strongly recommend giving Calda's a chance if you can.

Decent variety of specialty pies/slices that were delicious. Good service. Very good atmosphere and dining area.
