Tasty Food definitely serves the best Hainan chicken rice throughout the SGV. They give you an ugly part of Hainan chicken that has a firm taste. You also have a fried chicken version; also the rice they serve is different from the regular Hainan chicken. It's just $8, TAX INCLUDED. That's a good deal. The owner, Waldo, is a real guy who really cares about the quality of his food and will always make sure that your order is perfect. If you want the Hainan fried chicken to remember that it takes about 15-20 minutes to make it ready. It is located in the food court next to the GW market. Many parking spaces on the property.
Lead here by their great Yelp reviews, I had expectations arriving and they meet all of them. They delivered on their promise to quality over serving fast. I did have to wait a little longer than your average fast food place, but the food stood out as fresh and lighter than most Asian fast food places I seldom go to. It's also an amazing deal, was really impressed by the prices. We'll definitely come back with friends to try the Hainan Chicken.
I frequent this unique restaurant once a month since I like the good air that is unique to this place. The staff is awfuly attentive and well trained. The service is awfully quick. Most important, the food you eat is first-rate. I have been there more than once and I was always pleased. The pay is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to to everybody.
On Sunday I did not get the huge part of the Hainan fried chicken plate, but it was delicious with shrimps on the side. I enjoy the Chinese sausage and bacon-fried rice. I'll try something else next Sunday. Many tables at the Food Court to sit down. The rooms are located in the courtyard.
