California Sandwiches

Arranged to meet family from out of town on their way through at this restaurant my nephew has two babies one of which is a newborn one month old. He went in with his 2yr old daughter to change her diaper and is often the case there was not a change table in the men's washroom which is always disappointing when you're a father trying to take care of your child.There was also not one in the women's washroom.At any point the owner of this location could purchase a change table within walking distance.Food was great but at $13 a sandwich a change table is not to much to ask.

YOU ALL KNOW IT IS TRUE. For a near perfect sandwich. You go to California sandwiches. It is just the thing you do.My typical order is this. Veal, Cheese, sauce, HOT PEPPERS and Love. Well love isnt on the menu but you kind of feel like they care about their product.Am I going to say that at the end of the sandwich you havent made a mess everywhere? no. I wont lie to you. This sandwich will get everywhere. But it isnt the sandwiches fault. YOU WILL inhale it. Thus it will get everywhere and it may reduce you to finger licking That good.Thanks!

Very expensive sandwich; if done properly well worth it. The problem is, more often than not; 1/2 of the sandwich is a much cheaper cut of veal (very chewy and dry) disguised in the breading and sauce. I just started to remove it. For the price, they should not skimp on the quality and intentionally layer the best quality meat with the worst. Not an isolated incident, plenty of other veal sandwiches where you get a consistent meat quality in a sandwich. Time to move on.

We ordered on a busy Saturday and it took forever. You order at the counter and they call your name to come pick it up. The pick-up numbers starting get much higher than ours and after 25 minutes, I asked and they apologized (something/body messed up.) Ten minutes later we got our sandwiches and I was offered "free coffee" for the delay. The sandwiches were good, not fantastic, and certainly not worth the wait. Reserva una mesa ahora

When you go to California sandwiches you know what you are going to get. A killer sandwich.Our go to is the veal parmigiana loaded with their own hot peppers, onions and mushrooms. This is what fast food should be. Not only is it delicious but the sandy is so big that you really don't need to eat the rest of the month.

The quality is quite good (chicken parm is the best.)! We usually have them cater a lunch at our office now and then, and while the buns are incredibly soggy by the time we get them, they're still really good!Not the best this area has to offer, but still good.

Stopped in for a late lunch, busy summer lunch crowd. Restaurant was full and line up almost out the door. Line moved quickly as usual, same great atmosphere. I had a veal sandwich with hot peppers and onions. Veal now just under $9.00 and onions...More

I tend to go here once a week the sandwiches are substantial and consistently delicious. I generally order the hot steak but I'm told the veal is the best. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

I've been eating at two of their locations for years. Only complaint I always have is how long it takes to get your sandwich. It really shouldn't take 7-8 mins considering that's all you serve.

Best sandwiches, excellent quality, always fresh food, good menu plus great coffee! We come back 3/4 times a month!
