California Sandwiches

My mom and I just came here for lunch today (July 27 2019) We each had a veal sandwich. The very filling but they're one of the best I've ever had. Miley complaint would be about the tables which were not 100% clean for the next customer who sits down. As a waiter I do not believe that any customer should have to clean a table before they eat. Other than that the place was pretty clean. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area at some point. I strongly suggest to get the veal sandwich if you ever consider coming here to eat.

The care and service I received from Nicola and his staff was outstanding. I placed two large orders for our school staff and everything was perfect. Our orders were on-time and individually wrapped for easy transport and distribution. The quality and freshness of the food is fantastic and always hits the spot. We love California's, never had a bad meal and we have been going there for years. Normally get a medium veal but recently I have gotten a bit daring and tried the chicken, meatball and steak, all are great and huge, no chance I can eat the entire sandwich in one seating. My daughter who is a picky eater loves the veal, it's her favourite thing to eat. Staff at the Woodbridge location are very friendly, efficient and polite, this is a great location.

Happy we found this place. The menu is very standard with not many options... you'll find thypical sandwish ingredients that we all like. The veal sandwish I had was great, big in flavour and size and reasonable priced. The restaurant itself is limited in tables, lot's of people in line and not an empty seat, so take-out is a good idea.

This restaurant is always bustling and consistently amazing. I enjoy ordering steamed hot peppers with extra cheese, sauce, a side of spicy olives, and a Brio. It never fails to make me happy. Afterwards, I head next door to La Paloma for some Sicilian pistachio gelato. Mario Batali is a fan of this place too.

This is the best California Sandwiches restaurant we have visited. Clean, simple and welcoming. Both the chicken and veal sandwiches are excellent. The regular size is just huge, I have started ordering the smaller size just to be able to finish it.

The veal at this restaurant is excellent, with quality meat, fresh buns, and a delicious sauce. It's a great meal at a great price! The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Been coming here for a couple of years to get veal sandwich take out. The place gets quite busy during lunch peak hours but service is prompt and veal is almost always great!
