The Al Pastor burrito was filled with overcooked, hard, and crunchy rice, with hardly any meat inside. My boyfriend thought the burrito was so small that he shared half of his chimichanga with me, which was actually quite tasty. However, the rice served on the side was basically inedible. I wouldn’t recommend ordering any dishes that include a lot of rice from this place.
You can never go wrong with California taco. This location has the friendliness staff and there service is quick. I get the steak tacos (soft) regular with passion fruit juice and it never fails. I usually do take out but they do have tables and chairs if you want to eat inside.
Great place to eat... Fish Taco's are the best. Shrimp Tacos are also very good. I've been a regular here for years.Prices have gone up recently but inflation has caused that everywhere. Still comparatively low cost way to get lunch. Not to mention good food.
I have to mention this: I received my tacos really quickly, but it surprisingly took 30 to 40 minutes to get them. They arrived steaming in a Styrofoam container, packed in a bag. Each taco shell was intact, and every taco came with a slice of lime. Reserva una mesa ahora
The service at California Taco is excellent, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is very clean. The decor is charming, and the staff were wonderful. My kids and I visited for the first time today, and we left with big smiles all around!
I’ve tried so many taco places in Providence and there a a lot. I refuse to go anywhere else. I literally live steps away from a Mexican restaurant and I’d rather WALK 1.6 miles to California Taco! Especially this location!!! Thank you!!
They make a burrito way small so i politely let them know. The take the burrito back and just toss more rice on it and then give THE SAME one back and i know this because part is warm and part ia cold.
The best tacos you'll find anywhere, no questions asked. It's really that straightforward. My favorite is the ground beef soft taco supreme, but honestly, everything on the menu is fantastic. Reserva una mesa ahora
This is the third location I've visited, and the food is consistently excellent! It's always hot and freshly prepared. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast!
