My family went to a restaurant for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother's birthday on Friday. We called ahead 30 minutes, and the place was quiet and welcoming when we arrived. We each had a traditional tea set, which included a teapot, finger sandwiches, scones, and other delicious desserts, for $29 per person. We also ordered a few items from the a la carte menu. We were running late, so I called Camelia Tea Room and asked if we could still stop in. They close at 4 pm. Heidi answered the phone and very politely said, yes, we 'll be glad to wait for you. We arrived at 4 pm and Beth, one of the owners, greeted us with a very warm smile. That, certainly eased our anxiety due to our late arrival.
