We chose to dine at Cameron's in Rockville and found it quite busy. We ordered two crab cake platters for $19.99 each and two whiting fish dinners at $12.99 each, bringing our total to over $48. What a disappointment! The crab cakes were burnt and contained more fillers than crab meat, and they had an unpleasant sweet taste. Very disappointing! Cameron's should be ashamed for not providing customers with what they pay for! I would not recommend the crab cake platter.
Scam is when you pay for one thing and get something different. I order #1 crabs which was $15 more per dozen than #2 crabs (which they conveniently ran out of). You can’t include small crabs that are barely legal and call them #1 and charge a premium. They didn’t run out of #2 crabs. They ran out of #1 crabs and started to sell #2 crabs at a premium. This is dishonest business model and you should avoid this place. Never going again.
My husband ordered the crab gumbo soup for me and it was not a piece of crab meat in it! I had to go to Giant and purchase crab meat to put in my soup. It was pretty much a spicy vegetable soup, pretty good, Just needed the crab meat. The food didn’t taste as good as it did 8 years ago, so bummed out because I use to literally go here every while I was at Montgomery College.
Ordered a dozen of colossal jumbo male. Quality was great…..packaged in a cooler with lots of ice packs! I chose 2 day shipping! All I did was put mine in the microwave……if you have the reheat option on your microwave that works perfect and I’m a crab eater!!!!! Reserva una mesa ahora
I ordered 3 dozen large male for $140 yesterday. The crabs were medium size, dry and barely any meat. There were a few crabs that tasted bad. I was told that the crabs were previously frozen, but I didn’t expect them to be like this! Very disappointing!
A must go to place for the best carry out seafood in the area. We get steamed crabs that are seasoned well and good size for the price. Fresh seafood, great steamed shrimp. And they clean the soft shell crabs for you!
Came for Crabs, got the Spiced Shrimp too. Crabs were good, nothing mushy or too light. Shrimp was excellent. I'll be back.
