Campanile Alencon - Reserva de mesa

This is the restaurant at the Campanile motel, famous for one night stopovers and set on an industrial estate. We weren't expecting much so late at night, but we were pleasantly surprised with the choice of starters and desserts (all laid out in buffet style) and the main courses were fine. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine here, too, but then again we were in France :-)

Buffet starters and desserts are standard fayre - can't go wrong with them. The main course was also OK, but overall a bit pricey for what you get. I guess you're paying the the convenience. The restaurant was busy on the night we stayed and the staff could not cope with the volume - they did their best, but they were too few and just rushed off their feet.

Stayed at the Hotel, arrived 8pm. Restaurant open until 10pm. Menu is good simple fare, help yourself to the salad bar, have a main course, and if you have room, the dessert buffet is mouthwatering. Couple of beers, bottle of wine, two starters, two mains, around €50.

Arriving at 1am and having arranged to get key from the automatic dispenser everything went smoothly . Good sleep in a basic hotel( motel style) very quiet location breakfast looked good but we overslept and had to press on with our journey and missed it!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice food, great service, breakfast included. Evening meal at a fair price. Our evening meal was not to our liking and without any fuss at all it was changed to something quite different at no charge! We were happy.

Nice atmosphere.Good menu,good service and food great. Reasonably priced and serve food until late.This is a boon if you arrive late at the hotel.
