A gem of a campsite! We stayed here for 4 nights in October and had a wonderful time. Perfectly located for visiting Carcassonne and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We used it as a base to pedal some of the canal du midi. Pauline and Gregoire, the owners were the perfect hosts and created a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The site is small and well maintained with a nice bar. The municipal swimming pool is right next to the site and the village is just a short distance away. Ideal for a tranquil break. We will return! Firstly the owners are very welcoming and informative the site has nice big pitches very private the sanitaires are dated but very clean. The first thing to point out is that the site is very isolated Castlenaudry is 10 miles each way although we are keen walkers that was too far if you cycle or have a car that’s ok the buses into Carcasonne seemed not existent but that could be the winter timetable. It was a great stopover on our way home so this was suitable
This campsite is fantastic! Great atmosphere, garden seating, and enjoyable evening programs. The mobile home was clean and well-equipped (we lacked nothing). Excellent facilities and showers. A pool and tennis courts right next door are a plus. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it's a wonderful place for kids and pets. The beautiful natural surroundings and nearby attractions make it even more special. Big thanks again to Pauline and Gregoire!
Old campsite, our mobile home was not even checked. The fridge is frozen and dirty, a light bulb is missing in the toilet, and nothing has been done to welcome you in the mobile home. The campsite's facilities, such as collective showers and toilets, leave something to be desired, are very outdated, and not everything is accessible. Great site...just (15 mins) off the main roads. As said earlier the food is basic....burgers or fried. That is it. I suffered (in a tent) from being put between two motorhomes. WHY do their owners always wait till the whole site is quiet to fight with some part of their van, crash, bang, crash . Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
