Camping Le Pont De Mazerat

We had a very bad holiday at this campsite following a big dispute with the owners. In fact, they refuse to allow you to recharge your electric car and any electrical equipment elsewhere (electric bike, etc. at your home for “security” reasons without having any notion of electrical safety. They recommend using a paid charging station in Tamniès located 2km above sea level. So you have to hang on to take your vehicle and then search for it on foot or by bike. Furthermore, after having connected my vehicle to this terminal for more than 7 hours and having paid around twenty euros, it turns out that it did not work because the terminal must have disconnected along the way. So basically the terminal doesn't work, thanks for the advice! The icing on the cake is that the owners have a Tesla electric car that they plug into their house adjoining the reception. And also they ride an electric bike so they also had to charge it somewhere in the campsite. And finally, they took an electrical extension cord from inside our accommodation (total violation of the accommodation thinking that we were going to plug in our car. They modified their internal regulations during their stay to prohibit the connection of electrical equipment because it was not marked anywhere (see photo . Result: I had to lose 1 day in Sarlat (not planned in our vacation to recharge. So if you have an electric vehicle or bike to recharge, do not go to this campsite. And then in all cases, the owners were very unpleasant which is an attitude that I don't understand when you go tourism, unless you don't need publicity. Their campsite being almost empty when we were there in August, their behavior is even more incomprehensible.

Nice campsite, spacious pitches and good WiFi. Beautiful swimming pool, which was almost private for us (mid-September 2023. Recommended if you like nature and walking. The nearby city of Salat is easy to reach by bike. Be sure to prepare well for the cycling route, otherwise you will end up on a busy n road Service: 5 Location: 4

We spent a superb week at this campsite. The calm that reigns there allowed us to rest. The welcome from the owners is very warm. As for the mobile home, very clean and functional. We will come back, that’s obvious. Don't change anything ! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
