Despite some apprehension regarding the comments read before our reservation, we are satisfied to have stayed at this campsite. We plan to go back there next year. A week is too short to visit this magnificent region. The Maori tent pitches are perfect. We can understand that the pitches of the mobile homes are not well placed but the campsite has no choice because of the flood zones. The toilets are certainly not all young but they are done regularly (being next door we witnessed). It is up to everyone to have a minimum of civility. We recommend this campsite.
A very beautiful region, the campsite enjoys a good geographical location on the banks of the Dordogne. However, we lack privacy on the tent and van pitches (no hedges, people cross right in the middle. . It is also necessary to point out the dilapidated state of the sanitary facilities and their lack of cleaning. On the other hand, the swimming pool is very pleasant and the staff very friendly. Arrive on August 21, distributed on August 22 in the morning because the mobile home was dirty, no cleaning had been done, the mobile home smelled of mold, very humid inside. Management fleeing its responsibilities, the water in the pool is dirty, no place to settle around the pool, and when you want to go swimming is impossible because too many people so camping to avoid...
We loved our vacation!! The location of the campsite is ideal for visiting all the beautiful villages around. The staff is extremely kind and smiling even at the end of the season The campsite is very shaded, the swimming pool is top in short, a successful holiday. We will come back!
