We visit this restaurant for pizza about once a month because it's conveniently located near our home. They offer unique options like their satay chicken pizza, and the 2 large pizza deal is reasonably priced. However, sometimes the pizza comes out a bit burnt, and I was once turned off when I saw them thawing frozen prawns in the coffee machine. On the other hand, the Rocky Road and Vanilla Slices are delicious.
If you haven't taken a visit to Canal Cafe and Pizza, I would recommend you do so within the next month. They are serving the most delicious custard (5 flavours) doughnuts. Warm, fresh and moist. Try with a very nice coffee. What more could you want on a fresh winters morning tea.
If you like a medium base that is strong enough to hold heaps of toppings like I do this is the place to go. The Satay or Sweet Chilli Chicken are my recommendations. Friendly operator who has not disappointed with the quality of pizza since we moved to the area.

Great pizza. Superb sweet treats. Great staff I say best Pizza on Eastern Shore It's worth the drive guys. We often get the Pepperoni. Add some jalapenos to give it some more zing The French Vanilla slice and Apple slice are incredible
These guys make the best bbq chicken pizza in Hobart. It's packed with ingredients and by far the most delicious pizza i have ever had. Well worth the drive to Lauderdale. Finish the meal with the best vanilla slice in tassie.
Prize winning bread..Royal Hobart Show Phil does a great job get along early for freshly baked breads and rolls cakes and slices also available coffee is good on a nice day outside coffee and cake
Ordered 2 pizzas via phone. They were ready when I arrived. Seafood And a pepperoni. Had slice of each and both were really enjoyable. Seafood was exceptionally tasty. Great base...not too thick!

Pizza tastes much more nicer than Domino or Pizzahut. Price is quiet reasonable. Very nice boss too.The only thing need to know is there are 4 sizes to choose from, ask before you buy.
Love this place. Beautiful pastries, biscuits and breads. Best of all the pizza! The owner also has a sense if humour.
