Came in for a dinner with a friend this Friday night. Ordered the duck carnitas chile relleno, I was a bit surprised when my order arrived with what looked to be a nearly fresh pasilla pepper. I guess I was expecting it to be roasted over a fire like I do at home, but we were in a bit of a hurry to make our next event and I didn’t check the listing on the menu again until this morning. Wow, I can't believe how good the Mexican food is here! I've been in the Bay Area for six or seven years and have never tasted anything this amazing. I've had some close experiences, but nothing quite like this. The bean dip that accompanied the plantains was incredible—it took me to another level of culinary bliss. It reminded me of something you'd find in Miami! The guacamole was also superb, and even on the second day when I had leftovers, the chips remained wonderfully crunchy and the guac was still fantastic. I had two fish tacos that were served with rice and beans. The deep-fried fish was absolutely delicious, and the tacos were equally tasty. I chose whole pinto beans instead of refried black beans, and they were great, although they were served in a very small cup, leaving me wanting more. The service was incredibly friendly. We dined indoors, but they were also offering outdoor seating in parking spaces in front of the restaurant. It was a chilly evening, but they had large outdoor heaters on to keep everyone warm.
I'm addicted to the Baja shrimp tacos. So flavorful and a good combination of cooked and fresh ingredients. If you don't eat shellfish, their Baja fish tacos are a good choice. We tried several of their birria offerings and all have been tasty. Empanadas are heavenly. This has become our first choice for Mexican food on the Island.

Never disappointed here. Breakfast burritos are the best in the bay, meats have incredible flavors from skilled marinades and seasoning. Also very worth going in person to enjoy fresh quesabirria as well as their drinks. Their bartenders have serious skill.
We absolutely loved our experience here! Its a shame we can't visit more often, we only went to Alameda for a vacation weekend. This is our new go-to spot next time! Food was delicious, service was excellent, all around perfect. Thank you!
The margaritas were absolutely amazing, and that burrito was at least a foot long! The meat was flavorful, but I ended up having to cut it in half because it was just too much food for one meal.
It’s an easy sit down with good margaritas and also super easy for take away. Their platanos machos look good- they’re fried plantains with black bean purée, sour cream and cotija cheese

Do not order extra sauces. They will charge you $3 and not tell you before hand to make sure it's ok. That alone make me never want to go back.the food was bland.
