We had a very hard time finding a place for our wedding reception. When we went to Candela La Brea, we knew it was the place for us. In addition to the modern look of Candela it was already equipped with a striking sound system, large lighting, projectors, tables and really large furniture. We worked with Omar, Maria, Fabiola and several members of the Candela team. Everyone was so great and accommodating from the beginning to the end. We worked with Omar and his team to host our 10 Year High School Reunion and it was the most amazing event! It's a popular event space, so be sure to secure it in advance (we were lucky enough to secure it with only 4 months lead time). We had about 160 attendees and the half room worked perfectly there was more than enough space for people to eat, move around, dance, get drinks at the bar, and just stand around and talk without it feeling crowded. We opted for the taco buffet and it tasted great. Omar and team were so accommodating and worked with all of my crazy requests, as well as with all of the third party vendors we hired (photobooth, casino tables, etc). This place is huge. Rare to find such a large drinking place, especially wine bar. They wouldn't know from outside because it's just in a strip of other restaurants and under Equinox. You have to go down and it's pretty bougy as soon as you're inside. First came here on a Friday night and there was a DJ (wut) and some visits MBA class from England were there to celebrate him. It was a great time. They also have champagne flutes. came back for a team happy hour and could make a reservation (only a week before).

I came for a travel agency event carried out by the Preferred Hotel Group. They offer parking facilities, but we took Uber who paid them very generously from them. Inside it was dark and the mood was like a nightclub, but without the loud music. It is a very beautiful place in an old historical building.

This is a fantastic location for birthday parties, bridal showers, baptisms or weddings! Really good food, on point and friendly staff create the best party you can envision!
