We stayed at the Hotel Cándido at the end of August, we had known it for years. It has not disappointed us, a very nice hotel run by very friendly staff. The reception is simply beautiful, the large and comfortable rooms complemented by a bathroom that is simply very well designed. The garden and terrace area was deliciously decorated, at night it was beautiful and it is a luxury to have a coffee there while you chat, by the way in Segovia we had paid €9.60 for three small tubs of ice cream, at the hotel for 2ídos, a coffee and a glass of milk €8.80 served in the garden, great. Las habitaciones son súper amplias, al igual que el baño, que también es enorme, con bañera, ducha, dos lavamanos y espacios separados para el inodoro, aunque le faltan algunos detalles que podrían haberse incorporado, como una alcachofa de ducha en el techo. El spa es pequeño, con pocos jets, solo tiene dos, un jacuzzi, sauna y baño turco, pero los masajes son muy buenos. Por lo demás, el hotel es grande con una apariencia señorial, no es un hotel moderno y avant-garde, al contrario, parece un pequeño castillo antiguo. El hotel es muy bueno, pero después de 6 días allí, queríamos extender nuestra estadía, y como era sábado, el precio se duplicó. Habíamos reservado nuevamente para el domingo, lunes y el siguiente martes. Lo comentamos en recepción y nos dijeron que no se respetaría el precio de las noches anteriores y posteriores. Creo que no hay muchos clientes que estén en esta ciudad durante unos 9 días seguidos. Si revisan nuestro historial como clientes, hemos estado yendo allí desde que el hotel abrió; los camareros más antiguos nos conocen. We have been very calm, I have given it a few less stars because I think that for the type of hotel it is and for the money it costs, they should take a little more care of the details, due to the fact that the toilet lid was dirty and broken, there were hairs in the bathtub that were not ours as we found them the day we arrived, the carpet had some stains and so did the armchairs. We stayed for lunch and had a very good meal, the service was cordial but the workers could be a little nicer.
