Originally purchased a Groupon coupon for their burger meal for two people, but after seeing the review on their fish meal by DianaW I purchased one of those as well.<br/ <br/ I'm so happy I did the cod was cooked to perfection, as were the chips.<br/ <br/ For a fish and chippery with an understated exterior, I was quite surprised by the quality and freshness of our meal.<br/ <br/ The interior and surrounding area outside were both clean and tidy, the staff were lovely. It wasn't overly busy when we attended (we did a late lunch so no doubt missed the crowds).<br/ <br/ My partner has lived in the area for YEARS he's seen the place but this was his first visit too. Actually had a coupon deal for the fish lunch here, they also had a burger deal on offer at the same time so they were pretty busy the day we visited. As long as I get a good piece of fresh fish with reasonably crispy batter I am usually happy this fish fitted all criteria. The fish was cod very generous in portion size. Not only that the chips were chunky, well cooked not greasy. If I have to have a tiny peeve it would be the fish was a little greasy but nothing major.
Great little seafood place but I think it's changed hands...I used to eat fresh fish and chips here and the seafood salad was tasty. The last time I came, the fish was overlooked, the chips dry and the seafood salad has changed less seafood)... I'll try once more but :
My seafood selection was cooked perfectly, with a crunchy light breadcrumb battering. Staff were exceptional and very friendly. Fresh prawns, sea scallops and tender calamari. I even spoiled myself with a kabana and potato scallops. I've found my new seafood shop.

We occasionally buy takeaway fish and chips from here. Service is fast. The battered Dory is delicious and the serve of chips is both generous and delicious. The salads are not a highlight however.
We come here all the time and always get fantastic food and speedy service. Best steak burger in town. Fish is always perfectly cooked. Beer battered chips are awesome. Try these guys out!
Good, solid take away. Quick service and friendly staff. Fish has always been cooked to my liking and have devoured all the sides and salads I've ever ordered.
Great casual local place. Consistently good fish and chips, and the burgers are great value. I usually order fish to be cooked from the fresh seafood section.
