Cantina 663 - Reserva de mesa

I can appreciate what they were trying to go for here but I wasn't very impressed. The decor is nice, reminiscent of a European style cantina. But the focus seems to be more on coffee and sweet baked treats then an actual cantina or tapas. Three people, we had the chicken sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich and cheese croquettes, plus drinks. Our bill came to around $80. The food was extremely underwhelming. Bland and small portion sizes for the price you are paying. The staff where all wonderful and super nice and helpful, which is why I feel so bad leaving the review I did. But I've been to much better places with much better food for a much better price.

Delicious. We came as a group of 4 and ordered 4 entrées, 2 mains, 2 sides and 3 deserts. Yeah we ate a lot! Standout dishes tonight for me were the (a) prosciutto with pear, gorgonzola, honey mustard and fig, the (b) kale, pumpkin and fried quinoa salad, (c) the lamb ragu gnocchi, and (d) The tiramisu and (e) roast vegetable side. The chicken cacciatore was slightly too liquid and needed more seasoning. The choux pastry did not require the added cinnamon sugar - the pastry and chocolate sauce were already quite delicious.

Estacionamos la calle cerca de Nab Banco. Llenó a un largo colega por un pequeño hilo. Tenía el bacón y el café, un blanco plano. Tuve la molienda desmenuzada ($ 16) con ensalada ($ 3 extra). We parked up the road near the NAB bank. Met a long time colleague for a bit of a yarn. He had the bacon bagel and coffee - a flat white. I had the crumbed whiting($16) with salad(extra $3). The fish was crunchy with a nice moistness under the crunch. Salad was fresh with lots of olive oil. We sat in the passage near the pavement. Slightly troubled by the whine of the nearby shop. The gnocchi is delicious and worth the visit. Service and atmosphere good, excellent expresso martini. Prices are in the mid to high range as always in Perth but with the Dimmi 50% off food it was good value.

Good eggs, good bacon, good breakfast. Coffee is okay. Dinner looks intriguing, they seem to be pretty proud of the gnocchi. Must be good???

My go to Sunday "I have a hang over" brunch spot. Food is consistently great and coffee's fix everything.
