Cantinetta Caprese

For Christmas dinner with colleagues we relied on this restaurant right in front of the long Bissone lake. It is really easy to reach both via the cantonal road and the motorway, and it is possible to park your car not far away. The welcome is the best and the place inside is characteristic, a nice atmosphere accompanies the entire meal. After ordering some excellent mixed appetizers which are served with creativity and originality with a typically Campania flavour, we tasted some excellent fish. I recommend the octopus which, in addition to being very fresh, is cooked to perfection, soft, melts in the mouth with a full flavour. I had an amazing dinner and experience at this cute restaurant. The terrasse is hidden, with some beautiful Italian music and nice layout. The pizzas are super good, the desserts are divine (especially the tiramisu-baba). They were busy but quick to serve us, except for the dessert. Prices are very reasonable. The owner is super nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

We ordered a peppered mussels as an appetizer. For first courses we had a margherita, a pignatella, pasta with clams and ziti with Neapolitan ragù. All accompanied with a welcome appetizer, that is, montanarine. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent, the waitress was always helpful and kind. We will definitely return

This restaurant does not look like much because it is not under the beautiful arcades in the center of the village, but just at the entrance to Bisssone when heading towards Lugano. There are 3 tables and chairs on the sidewalk but don't be mistaken, at the back of the restaurant is a splendid terrace. Service: Dine in Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent food, as always. Too bad for the Maitre who is too busy looking after the customers he wants. A good idea is to ask customers if they would like anything else and not leave them at the table looking around. It's a shame because the food is excellent!!
