We found ourselves sitting at a dirty plastic table and asked for the table to be wiped. The annoyed waiter returned with a cloth a wiped it. We waited ages to be served and ordered 2 pizzas. I wanted chilli oil for my pizza which after a couple of requests turned up almost empty. The aggressive waiter then asked to take it away for someone else. I said in hadn’t used it yet, he continued to ask and eventually he got the message and walked away. Another waiter arrived and took it away anyway. The pizza was like cardboard not all fresh tasting hence needing chilli oil. We asked for the bill and the waiter had trouble with the card machine which seemed like we were to blame for. This place does not pretend to be anything it's not. It's waiting for tourists who are hungry after a day's shopping and desperate for a drink and some grub in the shade. If you accept that before you go in and order burger and chips or similar, you're sorted. If you actually want quality, keep on walking. Went there with friends and family. Kids had nachos (looked good, kids loved them), chicken nuggets (likewise) and spag bol (apparently not good). The adults shared vegetable paella. It was dreadful. Undercooked rice, as bland as you can get. Just appalling. So, my advice: Treat this place as a fuel-stop and not a restaurant.
We thought we would give this restaurant ago as we always noticed it was popular with plenty of people sat outside. What a big mistake that was. Not going to go on about how bad it was, it was terrible!! You wouldn’t even give it to your dog. We have been holidaying in Moraira for the past 18 years and there are many fab restaurants. Avoid Cap D’Or they need the heath inspector and food critics to pay a visit. Reserva una mesa ahora
Incredibly friendly and made a real fuss about our toddler. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. A lovely spot with a super view for a very pleasant lunch when coming off the beach. Great food and lovely drinks, would definitely recommend and return.
