Capitaine Pouf - Reserva de mesa

For the first time, and certainly not the last, we dined last night at this charming little restaurant that makes you feel like you're in Maine. What a lovely surprise! The portion of fish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a fantastic tartar sauce and excellent service. I recommend getting the two-piece portion because the fries are so delicious that having both pieces completes the meal perfectly. I have no doubt that with the wonderful terrace, it will be a great spot this summer to admire Mont Saint Hilaire at sunset.

I really enjoyed their battered cod fish and chips. I even tried it with malt vinegar, and it was delicious—I practically didn't touch my tartar sauce because everything was excellent on its own. The portion was generous; I ordered the regular size (3 pieces), but next time, I'll get the small size (2 pieces). My partner and I have good appetites, and we both found that 3 pieces were too much. We will definitely be going back!

The view is fantastic and the food is delicious, although the fries were a bit overcooked. I noticed some squirrel droppings on the railing, and the table and chairs could have been dried better. We understand, though, and hope things improve. The fish, however, was absolutely excellent.

The fish chips are out of this world!!! The fries are great too. Thr service is impeccablele. Very affordable because I took some wine and a 3 pieces plate and I was too full for dessert. I STRONGLY recommend this place and there's a cute terrace too. Reserva una mesa ahora

Overlooking the Richelieu River, this restaurant offers fresh food and a pleasant atmosphere. On a sunny summer evening, it's hard to imagine a better choice.
