Capitol Grounds - Reservar una mesa

It's been remodeled since I was here last Summer and that appears to be a functional improvement. Noticed fewer staff and seemingly less knowledgeable or perhaps experienced? Great 802 coffee but my chocolate chip cookie was over baked. Vermont justcan't seem to solve the worker shortage issue. I think local and state wide government agencies need to work closely with thebusiness owners and operators to effectively solve the employee shortage issue NOW!

The Vermont State Capitol is a delightful place to visit. The guides are friendly and share an abundance of interesting tidbits and amusing stories about Vermont. The atmosphere is quite welcoming, allowing you to explore most areas either with a guided tour or on your own. The photographs are stunning, particularly those depicting the Battle of Cedar Creek. It's a must-see stop when touring Montpelier!

The restaurant closes early, but the staff is incredibly friendly and often allows me to come in. While the smoothies aren’t the best, the coffee is excellent. I highly recommend the scones, muffins, and pastries. Did I mention how nice and playful the staff is? Also, if you bring your own cup, you can get a small discount and help the environment at the same time. Overall, it offers great value!

I’m in town for work for a few days, and I came across the reviews for Captain Ground's Cage. I visited this morning and spoke with a young lady, inquiring whether I needed to be seated to receive service. She confirmed that I did, so I sat down. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any service during my 15-minute wait, which left me feeling quite unhappy. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

I spent a week in town and found the coffee to be consistently excellent. The bagels were average, but the breakfast sandwiches were quite enjoyable. I did have one interaction with a staff member who was a bit grumpy, which slightly soured my experience and cost them a star in my rating. Nevertheless, I would definitely return, as the overall atmosphere is really pleasant.

The smoothies are very good. The staff was very nice. They have a mix of coffee, tea, and smoothies. They have a kitchen for bagels and pastries. You can enjoy your food and drink inside with local art on the walls or outside right near a little stream.

Pleasant but cozy café in the heart of Montpelier. The baristas were friendly and the coffee was good! There are several coffee options and we have the Bob’s House Blend, which is the flagship mix.

Fantastic coffee! The bread pudding is amazing, and the atmosphere is filled with friendly people right in the heart of Vermont's capital. We definitely plan to visit again soon!

The coffee and breakfast options are excellent, although it can get quite busy at times. I really appreciate the new expansion, which makes a big difference!

This place was the perfect stop when we arrived in Montpelier. We stopped by for a cold brew and iced tea — thanks for starting our day off right!
