"Excellent place to eat. Waitress/ Cook went over the top with her service. My bf asked for a stick if butter n she actually melted a stick of butter for us... and the view is excellent... Imagine it's at the end of the wharf in Capitola. How good does it get.. Love my Clam Chowder on a bread bowl."

Yummy with a look! Many people do not really know about this place unless you are a local because it does not get car traffic and is the only restaurant on the Capitola-Wharf. It's a hidden little jewel on the water. This hotel offers lunch and breakfast. The club sandwich was delicious! Eggs Benedict also looked delicious. It's a tiny place to make a reservation for a bigger party. It seemed busier for breakfast and their menus looked excellent. You have a small bar to also sit and enjoy a drink. They also have some outdoor seating; You can observe how the fishermen catch fish from the pier. It is a great location, and they serve excellent dishes. It is located near the Capitola village. My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a wonderful date night at the Wharf House. We had an absolutely amazing time. The quaint nautical decor and both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the ocean. The house special cocktail Capitola Breeze was very tasty. Our server Oscar was very polite, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely outstanding!!!!! I had the fresh seared tuna, and my husband had the prawn scampi pasta. We also had the hearty and warm clam chowder in the bread bowl. Yummy. Don?t forget to try the fried prawn appetizer. We are definitely adding this place, to our top 5 restaurants in Santa Cruz!!!!

Cosy little restaurant at the end of the pier. Pricing surprisingly good, food is skin cuisine, but all fish is quite fresh and besides the fact that most fish is broken, the rations are decent and it is as good as you can expect. The setting is very nice, the place is slightly swinging in the wind and waves that add a dimension of experience. You serve great drinks! The service of drinks was slow, but we were a group of 22, and there were other people in the restaurant, so nothing wrong with it.

The food is wonderful! I'm not a fan of Claim Chowder. I always have to get a bowl when I eat here. Staff is the best! Very welcoming and hospitality! Lunch rates here are wrong. Lunch is more expensive than listed. Every penny worth it! There are paid parking spaces at the Peer. $1 per hour. Super cheap!
