Food was great! Big portions! Service was good! Very patient with us as it was our first visit and we had 3 young children with us. I know some reviews said the place was dirty but I’m assuming where we sat wasn’t where they where sat at but it seemed clean to us. I’m surprised it wasn’t packed. We were there about an hour and a half only 1 other group came in. And the place was empty when we got there. People need to visit here more! We will be back! Only down fall I believe if you tip based on service, they include the tip already. But it was what we would have tipped anyway so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Also if you like a good laugh look at the soft drink list!
If I could give no stars, I WOULD!!! These people are awful! We had a group of 13. Our food was cold and we were never offered a refill after being there for almost 3 hours. We were charged $3 to $4 extra per meal, plus gratuity. Our 2 and 3 year olds were charged adult prices for drinks. We were told that the menu prices are not accurate and we HAD to pay the price that they said today. The white girl tried to play waitress, cashier, and bartender and had a NASTY attitude! The owner a big Mexican man) even pulled a gun out on us and we had toddlers with us. He called the police once we refused to allow them to overcharge us. Please stay away from this place!
omg! just dont do it!! 12:30 pm on a saturday and owner is walking around in a robe, server has her order book down in the back of her pants! and vaping right in front of me i got a doughey chimichanga which is supposed to be fried and someone didnt put lid tight on cheese dip and it went all over everything. cheese dip was NOT edible, had pieces of food in it and looked like they used flour water to thin it out. what a nightmare of a business!!!!!!
Food and service is ok. Place is filthy, Air vents completely packed with dirt and smut so badly I have no clue if air flow can even occur. Ceiling seems to have bad spots. I would not suggest this place at all if you are concerned with atmosphere cleanliness. I just hope the kitchen is cleaner and the staff use proper food safety. We won't be back to do this again. This was my first time at this restaurant and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Next time, I will make sure to arrive earlier, but I did not mind paying the $10 cover charge in addition to my $30 tab. The music was enjoyable and the people were friendly, making me feel right at home. I am definitely planning to go back in the future.
Love everything about this place...can't believe they are not very busy. They give you plenty of food,the service is out of this world! More people need to try this place...it's a diamond in the rough. I will always keep going back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
Bought the carnitas plate, plenty of food, really good flavor on the pork, great customer service and true to their hours of operation, unlike the other mexican food restaurant. Will definitely eat here again.
The best tonpot (molcajete) in the Jackson Metro area. I have tried all of them, and this one is still the best. Lunch is the perfect time to visit.
