Beautiful location. Looking out over the water is delightful. Dinner was delicious and dessert was equally as good. It's not in a central location, takes a nice drive through the backroads to get there. After dinner we were visiting with our friends before the drive home. We were asked if we were ordering anything else (besides the after dinner coffee we'd just finished). When we responded we were done we were invited to move our conversation with our dinner guests outside as they'd like the table please. Really, after spending over $100 for dinner/dessert, drinks, etc., if we're not going to keep eating get out our coffee had only been 10 minutes finished. Despite the food will not be back!
Man of Triple D has it right!. Come casual, come hungry! Looking at the Jones River, I was in the hoof sky! Smithfield's on the street right now. Get the crab soup Delish! Many crabs, taste and served cakes hot. If I were part of giraffe, I would have licked the bowl. The crab cakes also all the crab meats. Lemon ready to go! Everything was served hot. My pages were kale and squash with pecans. The hush puppies I usually miss, but not these! Server attentive and knowledgeable. I made key lime cake home!. Visit by car or visit by boat, but definitely visit! The type of Triple D is right! Next time eat happy!
The first time here and we are amazed, it took us so long to visit, just 10 minutes away. Very casual atmosphere and good food. The price is more expensive than other fish restaurants, but your dollars buy fresh and well prepared dishes. My iced tea ran out a few times, but otherwise we had good service. The captain himself even came by to say hi!
