Captain Cook Hotel

As a Canadian, I was told to find a proper steak sandwich from some friends while in Australia. So, I came here as it was close to where I was staying and had The Works Steak Sandwich. The food was fast, and it was delicious. Couldn't have asked for better service or food. Really great pub food for a steal of a price. I'd make this place my local if I were from here.

It may not look too exciting from the outside however inside is a great feeling of an old sydney pub. Great beers and pub food plus friendy staff. It depicts what the Rocks might have been like back in the day. Well worth a visit.

This was our local and it was great to see it busy with locals, eating and drinking. We had some excellent beer and wine with supper one evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - helped by chatty and friendly bar staff.

Popped over for a snappy cider after a weekend at the Lord Nelson. Never realized it was so close. Chairs out the front to watch the world go by or ok water views from the back

We were staying at the hotel so we ate in-house. The food was quite good & reasonably priced. Good wine selection & lots of beer taps as well.
