First of all, I really hope Captain D's never goes out of business because their locations are quite rare. Every time I've eaten here (which is often), the food has been hot and freshly made, just as it should be for seafood fast food. There was one night when the wait was extremely long—almost 30 minutes. That was definitely the worst experience I've had, but I'm willing to attribute it to short staffing, hopefully.
I visited this restaurant on May 25, 2022. The sanitation grade is the reason for the two-star rating, which is around 98. The service was quite slow, even though I ordered just two items. When my meal arrived, I noticed that I was served some cold, older fish mixed with fresh, hot fish. The slaw was also unappetizing. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing. I believe you can do better than this.
I haven't had service like this at Captain D's in Monroe for a long time. On January 2, 2024, around 4:30 PM, I was helped by a black lady who was the manager, and a young white lady who worked at the drive-thru. You all make a great team, and I appreciate your respectful service. Thank you!
The ultimate seafood platter was fantastic! We also tried the shrimp tea fries, and everything was amazing! The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the restrooms were spotless! I will definitely be returning! Reserva una mesa ahora
I truly love the seafood platter and clam strips at this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, and the service is outstanding.
The service was outstanding! The cashier even brought our food to our table with a smile. We come every Wednesday for Senior Day, and the food is excellent!
The fries weren't as hot as I prefer, and when I ordered 12 shrimp, I only received 4 and had to go back inside to address it.
