Captain D's Seafood Kitchen

I stopped by this restaurant today and had a negative experience with the drive-thru attendant. She had a bad attitude and was very unpleasant when I asked about the $5.99 special. I ended up ordering a fish sandwich instead and tried to make it a combo, but she rudely responded that she didn't just ask me that and refused to do it. There were no cars in line behind me, so I wasn't causing any delays. The lack of customer service and rude behavior was very disappointing. I chose to leave without completing my order because I didn't want to deal with her negativity. This happened at the location on Groesbeck Hwy around 3:00 pm. I hope this feedback reaches the supervisor or owner.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The woman working the drive-thru was rude and confrontational. Despite them making mistakes with my order in the past, I did not bring it up when ordering again. However, this woman was quick to have an attitude over a minor issue. I am very disappointed with the service. It seems acceptable for her to be rude, but not when they make mistakes. I would give this place 0 stars. My advice to the owners is to start hiring and firing, as this behavior is not acceptable. You cannot train someone to have a bad attitude like that.

I have visited this restaurant three times and each time we have received excellent service. The quality of the food was so good that we even left a tip, something we usually don't do at fast food restaurants. The grilled fish, hush puppies, and Cajun catfish sandwiches were all delicious. However, I would recommend skipping the lobster roll sandwich as it was a bit skimpy. Overall, the food was good value for the price paid. Next time, I will definitely stick to ordering fish.

This was my first time there and it was amazingly pleasant! The eating area was spotless even the self serve drink area was clean. There is a lot of pride taken in this location and the staff is easy to talk to and they assist with getting you served. The food! Was hot! Seasoned well and prepared neatly! It's fast food fried fish and chicken, so it'll never hit a 5, but it's a REALLY good 4. Service was excellent and very friendly.
