Captain Nelson Tavern

Absolutely recommend this place! My partner and I are both vegan so weren't expecting to be able to eat anywhere in Maryport, but after along walk at the beach with the dogs we were looking forward to at least a bowl of chips. The guy was super friendly as we looked at the menu with our tired doggies, and offered to make us something up, however we were more than happy to try the five bean chilli which was delicious. Such friendly service, very welcoming and yummy food! Thank you!

Took my children for a day out to mary port and decided to have a meal.. well there is no words to express how delicious it was! The fish just about fitted on the plate! we all had different meals and all get the thumbs up staff are great too lovely warm and friendly place-we will return!

Lovely food and very large portions. I had gammon, pineapple and chips best chips I have had since my mum made me them! Nutella cheesecake that I stole from hubby's plate was lush too

Amazing food and great price. Staff members are really nice and helpful as well. This place is a place you definitely have to go!!!
