The best pizza in Roc City! I have been enjoying this delicious pizza since the 1980s. When I attended Blessed Sacrament Junior High School, we would have Captain Tony's pizza for lunch every once in a while. Those were good times. I was fortunate enough to live near this place for a few years and have taken advantage of their Wild Wednesday Special frequently in recent decades. Even though I moved away from the area a few years ago, I always make sure to come back to Captain Tony's to satisfy my craving. My wife and children have also become fans. I ordered from DoorDash and this place is AMAZING!!!! I always get the calzone and the quality of the food for the price is EXCELLENT. It is one of the best places in Rochester to order a calzone. I love the taste of the Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella, and the sauce is fantastic. There is not as much dough and less filling here compared to other places. It's packed with toppings, so I believe you get your money's worth. I would recommend this place for a large calzone over any other place around.
Mid pizza.. plenty of other spots in Rochester who serve pizza with their heart and soul into it. Parking: 9-10 spots in the back behind the building. 2 entrances, one on Winton and one on Humboldt.
This pizza was absolutely amazing! I cannot give it enough stars. Every time I crave a deep dish it’s the only place I go! Five stars all the way! Thank you, Kevin and Pauley!!!
