Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake Co. Colmar

After hearing great things about it, we decided to try this restaurant for the first time, and we were not disappointed! The coconut shrimp we ordered was far superior to any we've had at other restaurants or shops. We also tried the crab cakes (3 different types) and enjoyed the variety and generous portions - each had a delicious, bold flavor with minimal filler. The included heating instructions made preparing our meal quick and easy. The hush puppies were also a hit - absolutely incredible! I highly recommend ordering from here and we will definitely be returning soon. P.S. The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming, which is sadly rare to find these days.

My husband and I ordered dinner online yesterday and it was a very convenient experience. The detailed menu descriptions made it easy for us to decide what to order. When my husband picked up our food, the staff member was very welcoming. The sides that came with our meals were delicious. We ordered the classic crab imperial flounder and the crab imperial stuffed portabello mushroom, and both dishes were fantastic! We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again.

I really enjoy the assortment of crab cakes offered at this restaurant. I had a strong craving for crab cakes, so my boyfriend kindly went out and bought me some. We sampled a variety of options and found some that we preferred over others. It was fascinating to taste the different flavors. However, my top choice remains a simple crab cake that is not breaded, free of any fillers, and perfectly seared. Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake is a great new addition to the neighborhood.

I finally visited this restaurant and I regret not trying it sooner! I was not aware that you actually cook your own food here, so it's not a typical takeout place where you can quickly grab food and go. My mistake. They offer pre-made seafood options with simple heating instructions. It didn't take long at all. We ordered a crab cake, a shrimp cake, a crab and shrimp roll, and clam chowder. Everything was incredibly delicious.

The interaction was strange, but what followed was even more disappointing. The crabcake I received was tasteless and dry, not at all what I expected. It seemed like the dish was hastily put together, possibly because I didn't order anything else. I gave this restaurant two stars because while the meal was edible, it did not live up to my expectations for a quality crabcake.

We went to this restaurant for brunch. The food was quite good, but the highlight was definitely the bottomless mimosas! The staff was fantastic and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning next Sunday!
