I had a initially skeptical, but ultimately fantastic experience at Caputo Trattoria. Despite few customers and high prices on the menu, we decided to try their $40, 3 course lobsterfest meal (which is not advertised on the menu). The meal included a delicious bread basket with olive oil and roasted garlic, a lobster meat tortellini appetizer, and a main dish with Italian sausage, clams, shrimp, scallops, lobster, and risotto in red gravy. The portions were generous and we had to take some home. We were even treated to a complimentary shot of limoncello and cotton candy with cinnamon, followed by four mini cannolis for dessert. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning....
I visited Caputo twice with a few friends for breakfast and what a change overnight. We had about a 4 star experience the first time and the second time completely changed that. We are not sure if it’s because the staff was unable to handle the larger crowd. I understand due to staffing and training it is a hinder an effort a lot of time. My breakfast was missing pancakes and if I didn’t mention it the server wouldn’t have noticed. I asked for sausage and not bacon and was given undercooked chicken sausage. There seems to be a shortage of bus boys and communication. The prices aren’t the cheapest. The food was okay.
We had the breakfast buffet all you can eat option. For 25.50 each. Honestly i regret picking that option. Everything in there was stale and overcooked. Bacon was burned. The waffles had a funny stale cardboard taste. The home fries were stale and hard. Maybe the food would taste better if we ordered off the menu. We didn't get any second plate and try to leave immediately but service took so long. We waited about 10 min to 15 min just to get change back of a 100 dollar bill.If you go there don't get the breakfast buffet .
My wife and I, along with my mother and father in-law went to Caputo Trattoria for my birthday. I chose it because I go to Foxwoods all the time and I had not tried this restaurant out yet. Everything we ordered was delicious from the appetizers, to the main course and lastly the dessert. Our waitress Shelby was friendly, personable and attentive. The supporting wait staff was as well. We were all happy with the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Went two days due to minimal places at Foxwoods that you can get breakfast, day one we walked away in disbelief things were that bad, opted to give a second chance. The second chance was worse. My wife had eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce had a very strange tast and odd color. My scrambled eggs tasted odd and like pancake batter. The meals looked like they had just been tossed on the plate.
space is amazing. delicious food, great drinks and friendly staff. eating is definitiw expensive, so I wouldn't suggest going here to save money. but wow, it is definitiw worth every dime in my book. Chicken parm is excellent and I get it every time. always a great experience.
This restaurant is amazing. The food is fantastic, the service is flawless, and the atmosphere is lively and inviting. Be sure to try the delicious limoncello spritz and other creative cocktails.
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We both had a wonderful dinner. Our server Ashley was very friendly and helpful not only with dinner, but her own take on what to play in the casino.
