I like this restaurant, personally. Nice setting, accommodating associates, plentiful portions, and hot food. May I add, welcoming to those who use assistive devices, like wheelchairs. Caravela is known to be a *Portuguese Restaurant. My guest, Portuguese, does not like the cuisine associated with her roots. According to her, Too spicy . She liked the bread and the eggs that accompany many entrees. She also enjoyed the espresso (she loves iced coffee). She doesn 't like either white rice or French fries. She wanted dessert but the offerings are sugar packed . I have, and will, recommend the restaurant to those seeking this kind of experience. the restaurant
I went yesterday with my friends, and we arrived right at opening. The food was incredible! I ordered the surf and turf, which was reasonably priced. While the steak wasn't my preferred cut, it had fantastic flavor and was cooked perfectly—not too salty at all. The steak sauce was delicious. I also loved the fresh, homemade fries; in other Portuguese restaurants, they're often thin and overcooked, but these were exceptional. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, and the food was served fresh and quickly. It was definitely worth the drive from Providence. Thank you! As for parking, we had to walk a bit, but there was plenty of off-site parking available.
Gotso de Chouriço sanduiche e Pudim de Amedoa! Caravelas never disappoints! I’ve been coming here for years with family and friends and I would definitely recommend anyone stop here for some food. Also their sangria is really good.
We ordered the surf and turf plate, which was very reasonably priced, and enjoyed an excellent cappuccino and the best flan we've ever had. The restaurant was clean, the service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding.

Pay 2o bucks for pork and little necks pork was hard to chew 5 little necks vegables raw i got this dish for my mom which is in nursing home her and roommate ate it but complaining about meat not being well cooked
It's not a fancy restaurant, but the quality of the food and the price make it worth the trip. Great Portuguese food, great prices, and no matter how busy they are, they're always fast!
Service was fast and polite the fries were so yummy. Parking: Parking in front of the building has parking spots that stretch the entire facade. Awesome.
Place is nice food is pretty good not the best but it was satisfying. I enjoyed the superbock they have on draft. But they messed up the food orders.
