Cardigan Lobster Suppers

We enjoyed a very good lobster supper at Cardigan Lobster Suppers, which is located in Eastern PEI in a quiet location near the banks of the Cardigan River. Cardigan Lobster Suppers is open seasonally during the warmer months and tourist season from 5PM to 9PM daily serving up their 5-Course Lobster Suppers, as well as other dishes 3 courses). We had been on The Island for over a week and had not had a full lobster dinner. So off to Cardigan we went as it was near to where we were staying. Well we were greated by a man with a ripped and stained teeshirt. I thought he was a kitchen hand we later found out he was the owner! The restaurant is in huge need of modernization very old and tired. The price point was okay with choices of a or course dinner. The chowder was so so, the salad wad way too cold with bland dressings. The local muscles were VERY GOOD, and so was the lobster. The lady on the next table sent back as they were not cooked properly. Desert was a choice of a brownie or pound cake both of which were very mundane. Cockta...

The five mark is likely excessive, but this place is to me the most authentic and serves the best and most joyful lobster dinner on the CB-PEI culinary trail! The 5 course lobster dinner is a must. All you can eat Chowder! 1 lbs fresh mussel! good lobster and a dessert! (forget the salad, just there for the fun). Nothing very original or top notch in creativity or execution, but so authentic and good! Service is very nice, place has a really local spirit...I would go back tomorrow!

I had the steak and it was good though i think a salad should have come with it for the dollar price tag my wife had the lobster and she thought it was a little rubbery but not being a lobster eating person i could not tell you about that. there should be music on the patio didn't have a sound system out there was a cool night as well so patio heaters could help but being a man i sucked it up lol all in all good food and good service a little over priced in my mind. Quaint lobster roadhouse We four all had the lobster dinner. (Chowder, salad, muscles. lobster, desert- at a very fair price. Very good but not quite great Service was friendly and competent.

A very relaxing dinner on the deck. Our server was attentive and very helpful with suggestions. We had a wonderful time, meal and overall experience!
