Cardinale Ristorante

I know a little in Kaiserslautern. But there are always new tips. And old tips. I remembered Saarschmecker's contribution to the Cardinale of 2015. “Food” has me when reading this review that I never noticed this Ristorante before. A very young employee welcomed us with a radiant smile. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was already very well visited. Luckily we got another nicely covered table in the vaulted cellar. Reserves should not be a mistake. The maps were equally handed, the recommendations for the day were again written on a large wallboard. We ordered a bottle of mineral water, San Pellegrino, 0.75 l € 5,50. The menu offers pizza, pasta and Italian classics. We agreed quickly: The spaghetti with truffles € 16,90 should be for both of us. A small appetizer salad was not on the map, but the patient assured that she was not a problem. The desired dressing was requested. Mineral water was immediately and the small salads, as desired with balsamicodressing, were served shortly later. Fresh ingredients, good dressing, also freshly cut (in stock) Ciabatta. First time in Germany visiting our son and this was our second restaurant this week. Great spot off the beaten path, and WOW was the food great here. Started with some tomato soup and bruschetta, and they were fantastic. If this is how we started we couldn't wait for the main meal. We ordered rump roast steak, spinach ravioli, and a few pizzas. Everything was great, hot, fresh and oh so good. Finished up with some tiramisu. If you can only go to one place, this is the place to be. I think I'm going to really enjoy visiting my son and having dinner here

Authentic Italian meal if your in the Ramstein- Kaiseslauten area. The Bruschetta is amazing, Always enjoy the Spaghetti with garlic, olive oil and red pepper flakes. Great service from the staff. Amazing outdoor dining area.

The restaurant was beautiful inside, and the food was to die for! The owner was also an absolute legend! Will come back here again and again, wish I had known about this spot sooner.
