Caribbean Flavors - Reserva de mesa

My boyfriend and I thought it would be a good idea to be adventurous and try a new Jamaican food spot. Boy were we wrong! We drove 25 minutes, pull up to what looks like a tiny hut. No judgement. We were actually excited to go in. As we walk in, a toothless man starts hounding my boyfriend about ordering with the lady. Finally the server there turns around to us, we place our order. Only one server, no gloves, no hair net. She handled all of the food bare hands and the cash. The vibe was just completely off let me tell you the food did not smell like what it should have smelled like. We ordered 2 oxtail meals, paid for it, left it on the curb. This is NOT a restaurant. It’s a dump.

Food quality is inconsistent and the prices are too high for what you get. The rice isn 't the greatest quality. It 's more of a shack then a restaurant where you order from a window. If you peek inside; most of the refrigeration units look 2nd to 3rd hand. They 're better off making a J chicken truck like they have in Queens; then paying for taxes in this beat up spot.

Some of the best food in the area. Portions are huge for anybody at a great price. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area and enjoy Caribbean food. I encourage anyone to stop here, get outside your comfort zone. Everything on the menu is amazing.

Steve is the man. Clean establishment. Food is really good, I have been coming here for a long time now and it is my go to spot for this type of food. Love the oxtail!!! Keep it up and you will have a forever customer!! Thanks again! Reserva una mesa ahora

Best oxtail in Long Island hands down and they’re not cheap with it… everything was super fresh ! Customer service was amazing. Try out the carrot cake; Honestly the best carrot cake I’ve ever had !

Probably the greatest beef Patty and Jerk Chicken you will eat not in the Caribbean! Stephen is absolutely the nicest man you will meet!!!
