The food oxtail plate, jerk chicken salad and plantain were great. I got a patty t go. It was massive...they don't skimp on the beef, and the person I bought it for said it was good. I have no problem with the food. The restaurant is cute, but the table was a bit dusty. The bathroom could have been better prepared. Called for takeout last Saturday, was told sure no problem but only enough rice for two plates then we’re closing . Picked up an oxtail and jerk chicken plate. After effect, food poisoning and sick for 5 days. Called and spoke with Danny, he wasn’t even interested in any details and his response was I’m sorry. Stay away!!!

Trying to decide where to eat on a Friday night my wife and I suggested to her sister and brother in-law to try taste treats and once again we were not disappointed the food was delicious the service was great We were there May 24 2019 Plenty of parking so no worries
The plantains were old, stale, and cold, and the ackee and saltfish were the worst I have ever tasted - too salty and mushy. I would not recommend this dish at all. And why serve ackee and saltfish with rice?
My boyfriend ordered the j chicken plate, but unfortunately I got food poisoning the next day. I had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. My order was placed on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022.
Walked in and saw a nice selection the sit down part is on the small size so its geared to take out. I tried a couple of items and they were tasty, more select still to go through.

Had a chicken roti and it was the best I ever had! My wife had the jerk chicken and loved it as well! A must visit if you are in Montreal and crave some great Caribbean cuisine.
