I find the people extremely helpful and kind and sensitive to customers and the store’s environment. However, one item that I have been getting for many many years since I started coming to Caribou (when it first opened) is the coffee cake. In my view, it has too much of the cinnamon sticky Inner core that makes it too heavy to really eat pleasantly. I always peel off the thick goo in the center. I’ve noticed that Starbucks is now carrying a similar (almost the same) coffee cake, but it is more of a thin, cinnamon sugary item without the heavy, thick goo. On Sunday morning, October 9, 2022, I had a disappointing experience at this café. The staff seemed untrained in making coffee, resulting in a waste of $12 and a significant amount of time spent waiting in line and for my drink to be prepared. Given the high price of their coffee, it’s unacceptable that it wasn’t made correctly. The crafted press was prepared too weakly, leading to bland-tasting drinks, and it appeared that the baristas didn’t know to mix in salt or sugar. They should also be using chocolate chips when steaming a crafted press mix, rather than syrup. I ended up with a cup of warm, watered-down milk instead of a proper coffee.
Went during an average time of 1pm on a Saturday, 3-4 customers. Tipped for their service. I just got a Cooler. I got probably one of the laziest made drinks. All messy on the sides, half attempt to make the drink and couldn't bother finishing putting onthe whipped cream. It tasted decent, but with how messy, sticky, and unfinished it felt, it ruined this location for me.
The manager is incredibly rude and disrespectful to every customer and doesn’t handle escalated customers well, will escalate more instead. Staff is clearly treated with poor care and disrespect. They close frequently early. Claiming “low staff” when they have 12 workers at 12 and close at 2. The manager has an attitude problem and is very loud and rude

Awesome vibe, unfortunately I ordered the vegan egg flatbread which secretly has real cheese on it. The menu does not say anything about cheese. And they couldn’t correct the order so I was stuck with my purchase. I emailed corporate because they really shouldn’t be serving a vegan sandwich that has real cheese on it. This is highly misleading.
EVERY TIME I am in town (from CA I make it a point to stop at this specific Caribou. The staff is amazing and they appear to actually like each other! They start my day off with a smile and they understand what extra hot means! :
I wasn't notified when my to-go order was ready, and I received a leaking cup. I'm seriously questioning whether I should return and put myself through the poor service again.
Not from Minnesota but everytime we visit (4x a year) I go for the campfire mocha with extra marshmallows on top! To die for! YUM!
