I will never return to that restaurant. When I arrived, I greeted another customer with a fist bump. There were only about eight people in the place. I took a seat at the bar, but the bartender ignored me as she walked past without saying a word. This happened three times, and after the third time, I began to feel uncomfortable. She then approached the person sitting next to me to check if he was okay or needed another drink, but completely overlooked me when she glanced my way before walking off. As the only Black person in the establishment, I couldn't help but feel like her behavior was sending me a message. DO NOT GO IN ALONE! I’ve made that mistake several times. I went there by myself on New Year's and ended up having five double shots of Don Julio. I wasn't cut off, and even though I tried to sober up by drinking water, I ended up ordering more drinks. I have no idea how my tab reached $420 the next day, especially since I was paying in cash! I’m just grateful I wasn't driving that night.

The restaurant was pleasant and clean, with nice music playing. I enjoyed a meal there after our family reunion.
