Picked this place to go as it was close to where we staying in Llandudno. We had no reservation but when we got there it was full. Owner told us it be bout 20 mins before table was free. Decided to wait as we liked look of place so had a drink in little bar area. We weren't disappointed! This was the best meal we had out for a long time. Went with fish starter (massive prawns) and for mains picked two dishes off the specials that night cod and monk fish. Guys these were so good. Compliments to the chef. Had read positive reviews about this place and friends had also recommended it. Managed to get a late booking and were glad we did. Food excellent staff lovely . Nice wine a decent house red for a change. Good choice on menu. The scallops on special were cooked to perfection as was the salmon and half lamb rack. . If you're in the area worth a visit...Wll be booking again definitely.
Hadn't booked, but because our table wasn't needed until a good hour later than we arrived, we were seated and had a superb meal, definitely recommend a visit to experience the beautiful food and very friendly staff. Will definitely go there again when we visit Llandudno, highly recommend this as an excellent place to eat.
A gem of a restaurant! Lovely, welcoming staff, incredible food, great wine, and a fantastic cosy atmosphere that make this restaurant one of the best I've been to in years. Looking forward to the next time I'm in Llandudno because I will definitely be going back to Carlo's! Reserva una mesa ahora
